Magical picture from the Swedish children's story Tomtebo Barnen 'Children of the Forest' The children of the forest are the same size as squirrels. They are so small they make hats from mushroom tops and ride on the back of bats. They survive by wearing armoured plates made from pine cones. But, they live comfortably with most of the animals. Author and Illustrator Elsa Beskow. Framed by local Fine Art Trade Guild qualified framers using perspex instead of glass, so safe for a child's bedroom and easier to post. Ready to hang. 24cm x 31cm.
